Kailee Richter, MFT is the owner of Healthy Connections and a practicing clinician. She offers therapy to individuals, couples and families. Kailee approaches therapy with a focus on acknowledging the interconnectedness of mental, physical and spiritual health. She tailors treatment to each individual client based on their strengths and relationship skills. Kailee approaches the seriousness of healthy relationships with a warm and good-natured demeanor. She is certified in play therapy and has extensive experience in treating anxiety disorders and depression, communication, lifestyle management and self-esteem issues. She is experienced with clients of all ages and backgrounds. She is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelors in Psychology and the University of Maryland with a Masters in Couple and Family Therapy.


Erin

Erin Heirendt, NCC, LPC is a clinician at Healthy Connections. She offers therapy to families and individuals, but specializes in therapy with children and adolescents.  Erin uses a number of therapeutic approaches depending upon the needs of the client.  Erin's primary therapy strategy is a solution focused, cognitive behavioral approach to review needs and help clients move toward a more positive and healthy goal.  She is certified in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy and has experience treating young people with anxiety, depression, attention and focus disorders as well as adjusting to difficult transitions in life.  Therapy is inclusive and focuses on developing healthy relationships to ensure positive supports and effective coping skills.  Erin is experienced with school concerns including academic anxiety, bullying and education plans. She is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College with a Bachelors in Psychology and English and California University of PA with a Masters in Clinical Counseling.


Lisa Goodman, LCSW comes to Healthy Connections as a seasoned social worker, with over 23 years of experience. Born and raised in the Washington DC area, Lisa relocated to Pittsburgh in 2000 to begin her tenure with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). In the 21 years that she has been there, Lisa has worked in four different hospitals within the UPMC health system, sharing her collaboration skills with multiple professional disciplines and patient populations. This has advanced her skill set to include many specialties. Lisa has 14 years of experience working in women's health across the lifespan, with a focus on women during pregnancy and postpartum. Lisa's skills are not limited to women's issues. She also has experience in: grief and loss, trauma, mood disorders (anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder), self-esteem and body image, and relationship distress.

Lisa earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland in 1996 and proceeded to earn her Masters of Social Work in 1998 from Washington University in St. Louis. Lisa demonstrates a keen attention and commitment to the clients she serves. While Lisa’s therapy approach is influenced by person-centered and family systems theory, Lisa encourages clients to determine the focus and direction of the therapy. Lisa prides herself on keeping it “real” with clients, as they begin their path of self-discovery, emphasizing that honesty and sincerity are essential in developing trust within the therapeutic relationship. “You are you and that is enough for anyone to be loved”. Every person has a unique story that deserves to be heard and understood. Lisa is there to listen when you are ready.
